As a parent led and managed organisation, we are very aware of the pressures facing parents of young people with learning disabilities, and so we make sure that our Parent Forum, which meets on a regular basis, is a supportive and welcoming environment for all.

Parents have a huge role to play in shaping the future of Chaos and our support group feeds into our Parent’s Forum which, alongside our Young People’s Forum, aims to give a voice to those that currently feel that they are without one.

The Young People’s Forum meets to discuss the activities at Chaos, looking at how to improve existing services, what new services could be available and also wider issues facing young people such as transition, the future and anything else that needs addressing. Our aim is not simply to keep these things ‘in-house’, but to encourage the young adults at Chaos to make themselves heard at a local, county, regional and even national level.
